With Over 40 years of experience, Lyontech Engineering has established its excellent reputation within the fire protection industry in the United Kingdom and across Europe.

Founded in 1998 in North Wales, our initial aim was to protect the environment by effectively managing the phase out of Halons, CFC’s and HCFC’s. At the same time we wanted to provide a highly focussed quality service tailored to our customers needs.

Lyontech moved into there new factory in 2002 which allowed for continued growth. With  this new larger premises  Lyontech waas able build up it’s halon stock levels.

In 2005, Lyontech enhanced its service range to include cylinder pressure testing, servicing and refilling, reclaiming of gas for customers, supplying of halon and fm-200 fire systems and purification of products by blending.

In 2008 with contaminated product becoming more common, lyontech built its state of the art distillation column to allow for purification of customers contaminated gas. This offered a unique opportunity for quicker turn around on the purification of customers product. At the same time lyontech built it’s in house gas chromatography testing facility to allow for accurate testing and monitoring of purity of its suppressant range.

In 2014 further products and services were added into our portfolio. With service exchange and cylinder refilling of the following gasses  being offered on a regular basis. Halon 1301, Halon 1211, HFC 227ea (FM200), HFC125 (FE25), Inergen, Argonite and CO2.

As Lyontech has grown, our customer numbers have also however Lyontech have always kept focus on our customers. This aim Lyontech promise to keep moving forward over the next 20 years.
